The Welsh Karate Alliance brings a wealth of knowledge to our students. Affiliated to the WKGB, BKF & WKF. We have become one of the largest groups within the WKGB teaching students from the age of 6 to 60!

Welcome to the W.K.A (Welsh Karate Alliance). Headed up by Chief Instructors Gerwyn Harries 4th Dan and Paul Davies 3rd Dan. With their background in Shotokan Karate there is a wealth of knowledge and passion in every lesson.
We are a Welcoming, Fun, Exciting group to be a part of, Offering modern day instruction with traditional values. Our clubs are spread across South Wales so you won't be far away from one.
We hold Weekly Training sessions, Regular Association Courses, Kyu Gradings 3 times a year and Dan Gradings that will bring the best out of you.

We Have Produced Many Champions
Our competitive squad has had success at Domestic, National and European level, and we have competed all over the UK and Europe. Over the years both Sensei Gerwyn and Sensei Paul have produced many champions.
We train hard and play hard, Our social calendar includes party nights, Glitzy Christmas party and awards ceremony and of course the infamous "Summer Camp" one of the highlights of the year!
We are affiliated to the WKGB (the only governing body in Wales recognised by Sport Wales), British Karate Federation and the World Karate Federation.

We have clubs throughout South Wales. Sensei Gerwyn (Invictus Karate) is based in the Rhondda Valley and Sensei Paul (Swansea Karate Academy) is based in Swansea, Just 10 minutes from the city centre.
